Monkey See, Monkey Do

Think she's seen her mommy do this a time or two?
At the doctor's office the other day, she was playing with some tongue depressors. I asked her, "What do you do with those?" She replied, "Nails," as she pretended to file her nails. I thought that was pretty clever. They do look like nail files!

Iris' Baby Shower

This morning we had a baby shower for Iris and little Kekoa. She is due June 5th. Since Iris is from Hawaii, we did a Hawaiian themed shower. We "leied" everyone as they came in, and they had to remove their shoes - "Hawaiian style". Rebecca and her mom (Iris's mother-in-law) did a great job of decorating. There were Hawaiian quilts , sea shells, flowers, little boy Hawaiian shirts . . . it was really cute!

The cake - Iris requested chocolate - I think I'm starting to get the hang of this

The pregnant gals - me (just 9wks), Iris & Jennifer (both 34 wks)

Reagan chased Caroline with the lei for quite some time before she finally caught her. She was determined to get a lei on her and she succeeded.

Quadruplets in the Nursery

Sunday was our day to work in the Nursery. And, what do we find when we arrive? All the girls match!! They were all so cute in their pink & green. I had to get some pictures.
Reagan, Alex, & Caroline

Doesn't Jason look cute in the middle of all the girls? Lola was a little attached and wouldn't pose for the pictures without him.

The Big 3-0

Well, Saturday was the big day. I am now officially past my twenties. And, it didn't phase me a bit. Saturday was a good day. We got to spend it with some really great friends. We had banana splits and pizza (in that order). And, everyone got to visit while the little ones ran around. Our crew of little ones is really growing quickly!! We had Reagan, Norah, & Caroline (all about 18-19mo), Alex (7mo), Jacob (3mo), & Daniel (2wks). And, Little Kekoa and Gracie will be here in June. Fun times!! I love you guys!!

Baby Shower and Dancing

Last Saturday was an eventful day in the Ramsey household. That morning, we had a beautiful baby shower for our friend Jennifer. There was a big crowd, and the Glasgows were blessed with lots of things for little Gracie. Here is a picture of Jennifer and the hostesses. (L-R: Jennifer, Elizabeth -who had a little one 8 days earlier, Rebecca T., Stacie, Rebecca L, and me)

Here's the cake I made for the shower.

On Saturday evening, Jason participated in a fundraiser called "Dancing with the Attendings." He did the tango with a pediatric attending. Reagan loved it. She loved the music. She loved the dancing. And, she loved that her Daddy was dancing. The lighting wasn't very good while they were actually performing, but here is a picture taken after the show.

Reagan also got up there and did a little dancing of her own at the end.

Fun times at Playgroup

Several of us moms have been getting together (or attempting to get together) every week with our little ones for a playgroup. It's been lots of fun! Last week we had our biggest group yet. There were 6 little munchkins and 5 mommies. Rebecca L (this week's hostess) with Alex, Rebecca T with Jacob, Jasmine with Nirvan, Lisa with Evangeline (who left before the pics), me and Reagan, and little Caroline (whose mommy was giving to birth to her little brother about the time these pics were being taken). *Congrats, Patrick & Elizabeth! Daniel is precious!!

My daughter the "drama queen". Look at Alex checking her out, "What's wrong with you?" And, Caroline keeping a watchful eye on Jacob. Jasmine getting Nirvan settled.

A bit calmer, all faces are forward. Nirvan, Alex, Reagan, Caroline, Jacob

Airplaning Dinner

At dinner the other night, Reagan wasn't too interested in her carrots and potatoes. So, I did the typical mother thing and "airplaned" them around with sounds effects until she opened her mouth for them. She ate them and loved them. And, when I stopped "airplaning" them, Reagan picked it up. Here she is feeding herself. What a cutie!?!

Guess what we did today???

We had a very exciting morning! Miss Reagan tee-teed in her potty for the first time.
You can tell she was very excited about it!

Yes, she's sitting on the potty with a banana in her hand. Probably not the best hygiene to be practicing.
