Travs, Hogs, & Tutus

This was a big weekend for sporting events around the Ramsey household. We went to an Arkansas Travelers game(minor league baseball for those non-Little Rockians) and an Arkansas Razorbacks football game. It was also the first weekend of Fantasy football, and it's my first year to play (I'm the only girl in a league with all Jason's buddies). Jason and I are pitted against each other this week and, after listening to his trashtalk all week, I'm kickin' his butt (104-37)!
As a side note: As you may have noticed, Reagan now wears her tutu all day everyday. Within an hour of waking in the morning, she remembers it. "Tutu! I need my tutu, Mommy!"
Friday night we went to the Travs game with Graeme & Wendy. Jason informed Reagan that tutus and baseball did not go together. She disagreed. He finally begged me to convince her not to wear it. I told her that baseball games were messy and we didn't want to get it dirty or mess it up, so she relinquished it for the night. We had lots of fun! Jason brought his glove and scoped out the perfect seating spot for catching fly balls. However, the one time that a fly ball came right at him, he was getting his nachos from Wendy and completely missed it. Needless to say, Wendy will continue to be harassed about it for all time.

Saturday evening, we went to watch the Hogs play. We got tickets from a scalper - saved a ton of money, but once inside realized they weren't even on the same row. Oh, well. . . it all worked out. Reagan was very pleased with herself because she got to wear her tutu - only because Daddy didn't have time to debate it again. She made friends immediately with a 13 year old girl (Alex) sitting next to us. Alex gave Reagan a "piggy sticker", which she thought was the greatest thing ever! She didn't really pay much attention to the game, but she loved the marching band at halftime. When it was time to go, she gave Alex a big hug and said, "I love Alex!" What a sweetie!
